Byron Bay/Brisbane

hi friends – i promised myself no more blogs – but can't resist sharing these pix.
they're from our first concert of the year, in byron bay.
we hired a great multi-media artist, named 'tone' (that's all i know – apart from the fact that he's 'japanese bharti's' boyfriend and has been for several years).
anyway, with the addition of maneesh de moor in the ranks, we decided to use the time down under to experiment.

here's the result.

we took the whole thing to brisbane for our concert at the powerhouse.
three times bigger than the byron bay venue- it gave us space to stretch out...in every sense (that's esra catching some zzz's during sound check)

our sound tech kamal, luckily for us he's a perfectionist – here he is, listening for things nobody else can hear

we recorded all three concerts so you'll be hearing the difference soon!

ps - deva's mom, viten is with us.
her first time down under, we invited her to come and celebrate her 80th birthday with us.
she is very loved by everyone who meets her

    The pictures are beautiful although I know they don't come any where close to actually being there. Your mom Viten is so very special! I already love her for helping you come into THIS world! I look so forward to being with you, Miten and Manose in March in Costa Rica... maybe if I am lucky, I can meet Viten! :)

    Love the pics, and loved the concert! My first time to see and hear you live after years of chanting with your CDs! So blissful! My friends also had a wonderful experience! Had to rush off due to friends babysitter, otherwise would have bought one of Manose's flutes! Disappointed was unable to attend the retreat in Ballina after all. Thank you for a wonderful evening! The time passed by far too quickly! Hope Deva has recovered her voice! Thank you for all that you do.

    Dearest .... Deva, Miten and Manose ....
    Such magic and so much magnificence!
    Your Concert was a evening of pure bliss, enlightenment and exponential joy!
    Seeing these photos this evening transported me back to your beautifully blessed Concert in Brisbane. This was the most honouring and graceful sharing of your talent and your connection with all that is!
